On-Line Privacy concerns focus on the protection of customer identifiable information that an individual or other customer reasonably expects to be kept private. As the term suggests, customer identifiable information is information which can be associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for example, a customers name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and other information about on-line activities that are directly linked to them, including information provided by the customer when shopping and/or making purchases over the internet.

WORLDxCHANGE Corporation (WxC), d/b/a Acceris Communications Partners, (Acceris Partners) has put in place the following On-Line Privacy Policy to protect customer identifiable information. This Policy covers WxC and its subsidiaries, and applies to all customer identifiable information that WxC obtains when a customer registers for or uses a WxC on-line service, including visiting a WxC owned and controlled web site (WxC web site) and when shopping and/or making purchases through the WxC Shopping Cart.

Collection and Use: WxC will collect and use customer identifiable information for billing purposes, to provide and change service, to fulfill customer orders, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, or to create and inform you of products and services that better meet your needs. This means that WxC may use your customer identifiable information, in conjunction with information available from other sources, to market new services to you that we think will be of interest to you, but we will not disclose your customer identifiable information to third parties who want to market products to you.

Disclosure: WxC will not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties any customer identifiable information derived from the registration for or use of a WxC on-line service including customer names and addresses without the consent of the customer (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others) except as provided for below:

WxC may disclose customer identifiable information in special cases when WxC has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating WxCs User Agreement or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) WxCs rights or property, other WxCs users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

If you make a purchase from the WxC Shopping Cart, the information obtained from your Order may be provided to a distributor only to the extent necessary to fulfill such order.

If WxC includes your name and any other customer identifiable information in a directory that WxC creates from information WxC receives as an on-line service provider, WxC will give you the opportunity to have your information excluded from that directory. However these directories may contain information obtained from other sources not subject to this Policy.
